Der Haager Staatsrat hat eine Sammelbeschwerde gegen die Zulassung von Feldversuchen mit gentechnisch verbesserten Kartoffeln durch die Universität Wageningen abgewiesen.

An der Universität Bern wurde eine Fruchtfliege genetisch so verändert, dass sie Merkmale aufweist, die sie als neue Spezies ausweisen. Dies könnte ein Grundlagenmodell sein, um Risiken in der Gentechnologie zu verringern.
