Der Verwaltungsrat ist das höchste Entscheidungsgremium der EU-Behörde, wacht u.a. auch über die Unabhängigkeit der Behörde. U.a. kandidiert Dr. Michael Winter, Unterabteilungsleiter im Bundesministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Verbraucherschutz (BMELV)

Das oberste Verwaltungsgericht lehnte einen Antrag von Maisbauern ab, das seit Mitte März geltende Verbot von gentechnisch verbessertem Mais MON810 außer Kraft zu setzen.

Geschichte kann sih wiederholen Der BUND kopiert das "Kampagnenrezept" zur Grünen Gentechnik, möchte Nanoprodukte kennzeichnen und in einem zentralen Register erfassen lassen. Letztlich geht es der grünen NGO wohl vor allem darum, "Nanoangst" zu schüren und dagegen zu polemisieren.
